airlines with stop overs

I can't help but notice that there are airlines which are advertising jobs where you'll return home to base everynight. I can see how this is a +, however I do like the idea of a having a night here and there away. It kind of goes with the romance of becoming a pilot to travel and see.

What eurpean airlines short haul airlines would offer stop overs or is this down to long haul flagship airlines like BA BMi and Virgin. I noticed that Ryanair and Easy don't have stop overs.
