Question loss of license insurance

Hi all ,
I am presently with a low cost carrier who does not offer loss of license insurance . I tried the scheme with BALPA which , on the face of it is very expensive and has some unusual restrictions with it . When I questioned BALPA about this , they were less than helpful .
Has anyone any similar experiences in low cost ?
How does your company scheme compare?
How does your private insurer compare ?

Sorry to jump in but I am looking to insure my class one medical. I am still to be hired by an airline but I feel after the large amount of cash spent on my training that some kind of insurance would be wise.

Could you be so good as to advise me of any good insurers out there..

Many, many thanks

Regards

Richard

Hi captain prop,

balpa have just sent me info on their LOL, just filling it out now - its with a co. in guernsey. i'm 26 and its about £220 to insure £100k per year - just wondered what LOL you had chosen. my airline offers no LOL now but they do offer a company called Global Flying Insurance services (London) - similar price to Balpa
cheers
