Question PASSRIDE: Monarch, Britannia, Air Tours, Thomson, etc.

How come retirees cannot passride on Monarch, Britannia, AirTours, Thomson, etc. originating Sanford, Florida (SFB) round trip to Gatwick (LGW)?
Space available to me means paying for and occupying an empty seat when available. What's the problem? If the airlines I mentioned are now gone, who replaced them? That route is heavily traveled, but there are empty seats each way.

EAL, in the case of Monarch, the flights are charter not scheduled. Therefore the seats are not Monarch's to allocate. You would have to buy a seat from whoever the charter company is. Even we cannot ride 'space available' on them
