is BMI HIRING?

I'm one of the many in the market for a shiney new job.

Hoping for a Glasgow basing...

Has anyone heard what BMI is up to with regards to recruiting F/O's right now?

I'm wondering how salary is as well...do they pay you while completeing your line training?

Thanks in advance for any info. I feel I may be a little late this year for gaining employment with a carrier...

cheers

bmi are recruiting at the moment - I think. Not quite sure where from. Scottish base will not be an option at the moment. It will be LHR - Good Luck

If the GLA base is important to you, try bmi regional- the money isn't as good, but living away from LHR should make up for that. At the moment GLA is undercrewed owing to promotions and people moving on, but this can't last too long.

You have to email Capt john bell (his email is on ppjn.com) but to save you sometime they are not hiring at the mo. General requirements are 1500 hrs for First officer and I nearly forgot £15,000 for your type rating.

I think you will find bmir are recruitung for the Embraer, and cost for FO's is £2000 upfront and £10,000 over five years. Different arrangement for direct entry capains.

me stands corrected.

This was were I got my info.

Thank you for your interest in bmi regional.

With a view to future recruitment we are currently accepting applications from the following pilots for our Embraer 135/145 Fleet.

Captains :- Who hold a JAA Licence and have at least 3500 hours total time and minimum of 500 hours jet command or 1000 hours turboprop command. Direct entry Captains will be asked to sign a training bond.

First Officers and recently promoted Captains rated on the Embraer will also be considered for direct entry command positions.

First Officers :- Who hold a JAA Licence and are prepared to self fund their type rating and have a minimum of 500 hours total time. You should also have completed an MCC course, have a current multi engine Instrument Rating and be in current flying practice.

If you would like to be considered please complete the attached application form in full and return it with a copy of your latest CV. Pilots with no commercial flying experience should also enclose a copy of the final report from their training organisation.

Can I ask you to read the instructions on references very carefully? Due to the latest security measures we now require to account for every single day in the past five years.

Applications that do not meet the above requirements will NOT be processed.

Regards
