Ryanair starts paying for Type Ratings!

(jumbo-clingfilm) Hi folks,

I've just passed the sim ride with Ryanair and now in the holding pool. Are there any others out there who are getting it fully paid for by Ryanair or am I the first? does anybody how long the wait in the pool is ??

Easyjet have also taken people on under the old stlye 3 year bond arrangement, instead of the TRSS scheme. They were jet rated but not on the 737/Airbus. It was only a few, but anybody with interviews approaching should consider raising the bond question quite carefully.
Easyjet are desparate for crew and are already sub contracting out and cancelling lines of flying. Don't accept a TRSS contract without careful consideration.

Quite funny if they are doing that

I applied a few weeks ago with a rating and hours on the NG and haven't heard a dicky bird

Would be a bit unlike them to pass up on rated folk in preferance of shelling out on cadets

It is true - they are now paying for typerating - or you can say financing. You have to sign a 5 year bond, which are being written down every month. I only think the deal are for people they can upgrade fast.

Now just tell me - what are the odds that we are going to hear from someone shortly about the "small print", the 10 months training delay without pay, the changes (for the worse) that Ryanair forgot to mention until after the contract was signed, of whatever? Superpilot make sure the contract reads says what they said it would say!
