From a Monarch employee, if you have an interview you stand a very good chance of being offered employment with Monarch.

There is just one short, simple two on one interview. There is no sim, tricks, quizzes or difficult questions.

Good luck.

Twin 2040.

Monarch has 4 bases for pilots, 3 fleets (FBW, Boeing and A300), with 2 subfleets (A330 & 767). The annual hours you fly will vary depending on which base and fleet you are on. Your annual hours could range from 300ish to 900.
Ther are no fixed patterns to the rosters and you will get 4 blocks of 2 off per month.

Question for any monarch 300-600 crews!

what are the bases for the 300-600 crews
what are the destinations for the a300?
what is the estimated take home pay for a senior f/o on the 300-600?

thanks,
s.

Twin 2040 & ASF,

Do your homework, the Company isn't the happy ship many perceive it to be. Many new recruits have found that out recently.Resignations have begun, only a trickle but rumour control says there are more to come.

As Qwerty states, fleet and base will determine your quality of life. Average pilot hours are in the order of 575, however A320/1 in Manchester you will be knocking on 900hrs. By default some fleets/bases will be flying 300ish.

You will only be rostered the minimum contractual days off which is 8 in 28 days but they will be written in tablets of stone and they will not be single days. For the other 20 days of your roster be prepared for some serious disruption. Negotiations for a long awaited scheduling agreement are proving to be difficult.

Many thanks guys - I fly the 757 and 767. Since I live in Scandinavia I do not think it is of any interest - not able to commute. Thanks again. Twin2040

Bases for the 300-600 are MAN/LGW.Routes are mostly shorthaul with a little bit of India in the winter.Pay about average the 300 fleet is not the hardest working fleet-just ask a MAN FBW pilot.
