WestJet Pilots Ratify Contract
Thought I would let everyone know that things are good on this side of the pond and that the WestJet pilots voted 96% in favour of the new contract. It allows for choices in how you would like to be paid (options or cash), virtual bases, better crew rest, gurarantees of 15 days off per month (towards the end of the contract), and online shift trade system similiar to Southwest (you gan give away down to 50 hours and pick up to 100).
Great job by the negotiations team and great job in bargaining in good faith by mamagement.
