all the guys who jumped from Jet to Sahara in the good old days are now fired after the Jet take over of Sahara.

There is a shortage of 737NG pilots guess they will move to Spice, TRI's will run to Oman air.

Are they automatically fired, or are they resigning in anticipation?

Didn't the Indian govt recently issue a ruling about pilots leaving without giving any (or short notice); if this applies to pilots, shouldn't it also apply to the airlines? If pilots have to give 6 mos. notice to go, shouldn't airlines have to give them six months' notice before kicking them out?

At least they'll have somewhere to go anyway.

Not really... as far as heard in the last few meetings that Jet managenent had with Sahara Pilots... Jet has agreed to take all the pilots...

enough jobs

Not a big problem for getting jobs in India ,so many air lines air india express,
spice indigo, heard Qatar is coming to interview all of them and take them on 320. so relax jobs are enough jet is not the only one and their connection wchich are holding them to fly to U S A will get them down soon.
