BA Fleets
Just wanted to get some idea of what the best fleet is to start on with BA. What's morale like on the Airbus,75/76, 777 fleets. Does anyone know if BA is recruiting on to these fleets this year?

Did somebody tell you you would be given a choice
Depends what you want too do - Airbus boys and girls seem to work awfully hard with lots of early starts for little thanks, the 777 crews reckon the aircraft is the dogs doodahs but work awfully hard, have a so - so route structure, poor crew rest facilities (when they get the opportunity to use it) and get pay docked for not being able to make the monthly target (hours). My friends on the 757/767 reckon it's the best kept secret in BA, and the guys and girls on the 747 reckon that despite it's vintage it's the best longhaul aircraft BA have got and still has the best route structure.....

If you want BA, just get in and get your place in the seniority queue. Don't be picky about the fleet. Remember 09 Sep 2001 and other events in the past which have brought a halt to recruitment. A bird in the hand......
