Re: Cheapest MCC in Europe

If you work for an airline in the US and after finishing your JAA conversion, you want to work for an european airline, will the European airlines still require a MCC, or is previous experience in the industry enough????

Re: MCC for FAA to JAA conversion

It depends.

The MCC is a requirement for the JAA ATPL issue assuming no previous multi-crew experience. For the UK, the CAA require X amount of hrs of multi-crew time on a transport catagory aircraft..in order to issue an expemtion.

Re: MCC for FAA to JAA conversion

You just need 500 hours of multicrew experience on a multicrew aircraft and you do not have to do a MCC course.
