fish Looking for BA B777 rosters

Anyone flying for BA on the B777 as f/o is kind enough to share with me his recent rosters?

I am about to join BA and commute and therefore I'd like to be sure that is no problem.

Please pm me in order to receive my email for sending your hard months of work.

Thank you to all the BA pilots answering.

I am not on the 777, but as a new joiner, you will be on blind lines. With MBTR (minimum base turnaround), you will have the minimum two days off inbetween practically every trip. You may get three sometimes, but the norm will be two. Hope this fits in with your plans.

Have been on 777 3 months - have not had a blind line yet - in fact if you are not fussy you will have no problem getting a trip line - could have had 15 days off a month but have opted to fly a little bit extra - so have about 12 days off each month, usually 2 or 3 days off between trips - although you can back to back trips if you wish. If you are used to low cost rosters then it is a breeze.

Dear Greaser,

The reason you've had trip lines is that they are guaranteed for the first 3 months of 'consolidation'. That's not to say you won't get any after that but do expect things to change.

That said, you will generally work less on blindlines than on triplines. As long as you don't mind the odd, I mean most weekends. Making CAP on crummy triplines can be a real challenge.

With reference to commuting. It's all down to how much time you're prepared to dedicate to it. Plan on 5 times a month and you won't be far off the mark. If you're willing to do the odd Back 2 Back, you could easily just commute 3 times a month.

Lost for words -

Do you have a BLR reference for the fact that consolidating pilots are guaranteed a trip line? I know that we are safe from reserve periods but was not aware of that rule.

Regards

BLR 3.5.4.5 (and various others refer), you are not guaranteed a trip line, as a consolidating pilot you can be allocated either a Trip line or Blindline but in the event of both you and a newly qualified Captain being allocated the same trip the P2 loses the trip.....RHIP....

No problems getting triplines for me, for 5 months post-cosol, as there are so many people coming through the system at the moment.

Once you've got more than about 50 people below you, you should be able to get a trip line. Whether or not it's the one you really want, however.....

As a very junior trip line holder, you may actually be better off going for a blindline rather than a tripline with potentially no days off that you want (the trips you will get won't be much different). You're then CAP protected and are generally likely to work a little less hard than a Tripline holder.

Bubair

My DEC roster as a blindline. Pretty happy as I have the time off I wanted and will have a warm Xmas and ATL is a great party city for New Years
Hope this helps you as a lowly ranked blindliner. This does put me 2 hours over CAP but its all sweet.

1-3 PHL
9-11 PHL
12-14 KWI
19-21 IAD
24-28 CCU
31-2 ATL
