@troubles
having applied (several moons ago)with more than 6000 hrs on heavy jet - still waiting for a reply.
Don't worry !
Seems to be a =SLB= or STANDARD-LCC-behaviour
I think the days will come, probably very soon, where those companys will kiss your feet in order to employ you.

I applied in Sep 2001 with 12000hrs inc 8000hr 737 command & I'm still waiting for a reply( Oh Joyce, what a silly bloody Sloane)so I guess you might have to be patient, or just do the sensible? thing and join our "big happy family" in Ryanair instead?

I joined 3 years ago, so the "rules" may have changed.
I had turboprop cmd expc plus rhs crj experience.
It took 2 submissions of my online appltn form to get a phone call back, a few weeks later.
We are DESPERATELY short of FOs, however the management don't seem to accept that they have a real problem.
Get in, get the rating (737 or 319), see if you like easyJet (unlikely), if not there are plenty of other operators out there who will snap you up.
With your experience you will probably be up for command within 1-2years.
Its bloody hard work (day to day operations), but treat it as a stepping stone to better airlines, and grin and bear it.
See you on line

It unfortunately depends on the time....
In aviation, at one stage there are too many pilots and than they are short of pilots. It's always up and down and never stable.
Especially in LCC's were quick decisions are being made on short notice.
I recommended two good friends with 2500hrs 757 and 1000 hrs Airbus and they never heard anything.
They both found a new job and a month later I get an email if I know anybody who would like to join the company !!??
Aviation.....remains a mystery!
Good luck

Thanks all of you!
I guess it's like everywhere else, we're desperate, but you have to be patient.
@hotnhi Indeed I hope to see you on the line and hard work doesn't hurt me I rather work hard and enjoy then no work, or no enjoyment.
@Airbus_a320, Feet kissing....HMMM tempting, but it will of course be first come first serve the motto "cheap" and callsign "easy" is indeed equally tempting
