Ba A320 Schedules, Lhr

Hi, any BA A320 first officers out there who are willing to give me an idea of an average monthly schedule? I am awaiting sim cx, but told that if I pass I am likely to be offered A320 at LHR. Trying to work out if I am barking mad to consider living in Shropshire and work short haul, should I just look at living closer if I am to see the family. Would really appreciate a pm or response to work out how many blocks of 2 days or more a month I am likely to get off as billy junior in the company.

Hiya Seabass,

I'm waiting for my conversion course and asking exactly the same question!!! As far as I know, don't expect many weekends off and expect to work 50% of the month. Not too bad even as junior shag!

The exact figures I don't know but I would like to find out as well.

Good luck with the sim check.

Bottom of the P32L list is very clear... 3-6 day blocks, maybe with 1 or 2 LHR nightstops though (own expense), starting Thurs/Fri so ending Sun-Tues, with ~3-4 days off between blocks. You will do this every weekend you are not on Leave etc.

How long for? As long as it takes for more recruitment to lift you by say 50 places. At the moment not too bad (lots of recruitment), but the last 50 in had better like working weekends!
