easyJet Qs
Hi all,
Will be starting with easy in a few months and have a few Qs, hope you can help.
1. Crew food/drinks, whats the deal?
2. Staff travel, your travel partner, do they need to travel with you to get the discount?
3. On the 1st of Oct 2005 there is a pay review, whats the expected outcome?
4. Normal SFO pay after tax?
Thanks for you your help but just a few things I don't yet know.

coffeplease,
Great job getting a position with Easy. As far as fleet is concerned, were you offered just one type or given a choice between the 737-700 or the Airbus? Which did you get? Did you have a personal preference for either type?
As for base selection, did they offer you multiple base choices or were you assigned a particular base? Which bases are the most and least senior (difficult to bid) for newhires?
Cheers

Hi normal way of online app no inside job!! Could go 73 or A319 but no course on the Bus for a few months and no start date, so I took the 73 for a early start date. Base, was given the one I asked for not sure on how they are all viewd in terms of ranking.

We are short of FOs pretty much everywhere, so I don't think getting prefered base is much of an issue, HOWEVER, it is worth considering that it is difficult getting a command at certain bases (LPL is a prime example) and therefore it is possible you'll get yourself established somewhere, only to be faced with a base change come command time.
