Rowley, comments like that at a time like this are likely to be used by xl management to undermine the case of the pilots!

Unwiseowl, comments like that make you sound like a 70's militant. Pay disagreements in Excel dont stop people wanting a job, on pprune or not.

XLA management may want to take note of what happend at LHR this week, when the dinner ladies got P***ed off. XLA make good money and can well afford to treat their people better. Maybe if they could look upon employees as an asset not a liability.

Unwise owl........Dont be silly!

Ive posted time and time again on this forum trying to get info on Excel and get absolutely nowhere. So if it takes a time like this to get some info then so be it.

Excel pilots are amongst the best treated in the industry.......IMHO

But I hear the Air Atlanta part of Excel got 5%

How can that be if the XL guys have been offered only 3%? Is it not all one company now?

Obviously it's not all rosey.

I might be wrong but i believe excel and aae are part of the avion group, flying the same brand not the same company.

Rowley - Check Flight International.

BTW How is it you know "Excel pilots are amongst the best treated in the industry.......IMHO"

...yet you are unaware about basic information about the company, such as who owns and recruits for it now?

In answer to your question: I miss read the info on PPJN!!

But to put it bluntly........They are a damn sight far better treated than what i am where i work!!!

To say you guys have just rejected 3% (assuming you work for Excel).....well.....Its 3% more than ive been offered and I work for less than 17k a year!!!!No flight pay or duty pay!!!
