PARC contract (Aer Arann)

Hello fellow pilots, I need your help.

I am trying to compare PARC contract (ATR Captain) for Aer Arann versus the T & C Aer Arann is offering to DE Captains.

PARC is offering me a contract on ATR with Aer Arann, but I am reluctant to take the contract, as I would rather get hired directly by Aer Arann.

Any Aer Arann pilots out there?

Can anyone answer any of the following questions?

How many days off per month?
How many sectors per day do you fly?
How many hours you fly per month?
What is the salary for DE Captains including per diems?

And anything else you can share.

Cheers OM inbound

Hello OM inbound

I am one of many contract DE Captains with Aer Arann through PARC and I can honoustly say that I'm very happy with both companies.

Aer Aran is a very professional, staedy growing company. Two more aircraft (72's) to arrive later this year bringing the total to 13 ATR's.

Getting hired directly as DE Captain is something they don't do! Sorry.

As for your questions:
How many days off per month? Between 8 and 12
How many sectors per day do you fly? Between 2 and 6
How many hours you fly per month? Average 50 - 70
What is the salary for DE Captains including per diems? PARC can tell you exactly.

Good luck.

...but take the contract, then speak to John Halpin a couple of months after. Chances are you will be offered a permanent contract when your first 6 months are up.

They are a very good crowd with a good route network. Should be enjoyable (but call Resource Group (Airline Appointments) - they are Jersey-based & you don't pay much tax on your salary ).

Best of luck with it fm
