The average is 4 to 5 trips per month. You get a minimum of 10 days off at base per month.

Trips are mostly 3 or 4 days duration including days of departure and arrival, i.e. leave LHR evening day one, arrive Baku early day two, leave Baku early day three arriving LHR around midday.

Some 4 and 5 day trips invlove a night shuttle flight. You also get at least 2 days off after every 4 and 5 day trip.

Standby duties are rostered in blocks of 3 to 6 days.

High Flyer - Does that indicate that you would be able to commute on the current rosters??

Some pilots commute from Geneva and other European locations. With most departures early afternoon to early evening, none in the morning, it is relatively easy to commute from anywhere in the UK on the day of the flight?

However, there is also the 90 minute requirement if you are on standby. Some pilots relocate closer to LHR for standby duties.
