Top paying airline?

Hallo-

What airline today pays its pilots the most? Singapore? Air France? B.A.? FedEx? Thank you!

Greaser

Your question is irrelevant mate. Top paying is, simply put, the one that pays better, regardless of the currency.

Japan Airlines and ANA pay very well - if you are Japanese.
I know of some that are on over US$400,000 per year for about 40 hours per month.

Top paying airline may not give you the time to spend any of your hard earned cash. Rather work for a reasonable payer with a good life style balance.

I must say that PPJN is well meaning but crap.

The info is generally accurate, but very poorly presented.

$400,000 a year....bloody hell!!! Mind you doesnt it cost a pretty packet to live out there?

Just as a matter of interest, how much does a southwest F/O earn. And how many hours a year do they do?

I do know about the top paying American airlines, right now the cargo airlines, Delta, and Northwest are holding up the top.

I have heard A.F. pilots are well paid, but one post has a good point-- what about taxes and cost of living in that country! Then again, some pilots commute from their home country into work (like at Cathay).

Thanks for the good posts gentlemen.

Cool

try:

http://www.futureairlinepilot.com/salaries.html

that lists in order the entrant salary (all inclusive of benefits etc) for First officer entrants. Although last I looked it hadnt been updated since Jan 04. But it gives a good indication of the best payers out there in Europe anyway.

Hope this helps......
