Charter/ACMI Airlines

Quite like the sound of working on various contracts around the globe, such as Air Atlanta, the only thing is that it doesn`t look the most stable of jobs (i.e working as a contractor).

Are there any other similar operators on this scale ?

Hi Space!

Haven't seen you for a while.

Have you considered Air Atlantique? If you have a type rating on an ATR42-300 you could get in with them.

They are becoming a big player in the ACMI arena.....

I believe they have a base in the Isle of Man

Cheers for that 5150, might just have to look into that.

Do you know what sort of working conditions I can expect at Air Atlantique, because if it involves being stuck in some crappy hotel in the middle of nowhere for days then I aint interested.

Yep, The Spaceman is back and "I`m Awesome" !

Dunno about that, but I know someone who has a business card from an atr captain and apparently they stay in a very nice secluded hotel with a golf course and chauffer driven transport to and from work!!

Anyhow - are you still flying for the coast guard? Must be great flying those helicopers about
