A Long-Haul question...

Hi

Just wondering what the typical flight rota is like for long-haul pilots of BA, Virgin etc?

How many days stay-over do they get abroad i.e in NY or Miami?

How many times they fly in a week or month?

Cheers,

Look HERE. It's fairly specific towards the 777 at BA but should give you a bit of an idea.

In summary, as a newbie on the 777, expect five or six two-crew trips per month (sectors up to about eight hours) to the East Coast of the US. Generally, a day flight outbound with 24 hours off and a night flight home followed by two days off and do it all again....
