LTU, Hapag Lloyd, or Air Berlin
A good German friend of mine has built up about 3,000 hours in corporate jets (with a lot of PIC time) and he is considering making the jump to one of the charter carriers - LTU, Hapag Lloyd, or Air Berlin IF the opportunity arises (nothing at the moment - and maybe no opportunities for awhile).
I have heard that Air Berlin offers very low wages/benefits - although it is growing with its Palma hub and it is replacing all Boeings with Airbus soon.
Does anyone out there have a perspective on these three carriers? If one was lucky enough to have offers from all three (however unlikely that might be), which should he choose and why? I have heard good things about LTU and Hapag Lloyd - are there any negatives to consider? Are any of these carriers likely to hire any time soon besides Air Berlin?
Cheers

Hapag Lloyd Flug is a good company to work for, good pay, planes and routes. Good people to work with although they are a bit disgruntled about pay and conditions at the moment. However new joiners work for Hapag Lloyd Express, they are worked really hard for lesser pay and conditions. Suprisingly still good people to work with. I think both HLF/HLX are better than the other two. LTU subsidised by Lower Saxony so shouldn't go bust!
