SkyEurope Budapest - still needed ?

Have been looking at the SkyEurope Website, i wonder if they're still looking for crews based in Budapest. Have been there a few years ago and liked it very much. Might be a problem that ratings are fitted onto ICAO license and no JAR. Any chance ?

Thanks for any inputs.

Correct me if I'm wrong but is your European licence not issued in accordance with JAR FCL 1 and ICAO. Please have a read of it and revert.

Phileas, unfortunately not. One license is issued by a country within Europe, but not a JAA member yet and the other is FAA (where the rating rests on).

Cheers, lammfell

You need a hungarian licence validation, if accepted, and also a work permit depending on what country you are from within the EU, sounds strange? Well it is.
Unless you are a Hungarian, Budapest is out of reach Bud, you are better of with Krakow or Warsaw.
Hope this helps.

Lammfell,

Are you a First Officer or Captain?
Do you have type-rating on B737?

We are still looking for Captains B737EFIS , mainly for our KRK and WAW base.

For the moment, we have enough First Officers in the holding pool I've been told. (but we will begin recruiting again in Spring)

Life at Sky is steadily improving,.We will have 17 B737's by end 2005 and a major announcement regarding routes/bases and new aircraft will be given in a not so distant future.
Also, salaries will significantly increase from next month onwards.

It is also widely known that SkyEurope has the best looking Cabin-Angels of Europe!!!
