Depends on your definition of "Low Cost". Japanese pilots working for the likes of JEX or Skymark, both of which are "Lower" cost than the Japanese majors, would earn around $200 000 USD per year.

To answer previous question, the debate centered around entire package (Salary and extras).
I would have thought the likes of Southwest and easJet had a higher "basic" salary when excluding the likes of shares etc ?
