Astraeus and its 757... Will Capt. PPrune fly the 757?

Hey, I recently saw an Astraeus 757 at Salzburg - I thought Astraeus only flew 737-300/700s? Will Astraeus add additional 757s in the future or Airbuses as per expansion rumors?

I know that Capt. PPrune formerly flew 757s for Air 2000 and enjoyed them - will he also fly the 757s at Astreaus or is he happy in the 737-700? Good news for Astraeus pilots out there...

Wow! I'm overwhelmed by your responses.... Perhaps other boards out there are more interactive.

Cheers. Too bad because I am sure Capt. PPrune would like to get back into the 757 after flying in the cramped 700 on those long flights. Looks like his old haunt is getting 7E7s too - now that would be a great aircraft to fly!!!!!

The aircraft is directly leased to Astraeus, following the termination of the AV8 lease. It operates fro Gatwick on Oil Supposrt routes during the week and Holiday charter flights at weekend. It occasionally substitutes for the 737 during the weeke, hence it's arrival in Salzburg.

Capt.PPRuNe is Manchester based and flies the 737 NG. He is unlikely to want to change base to fly the 757 again at this time.
