UNIONS, the pros and cons?

I was just wondering, which airlines have unions and which do not?

If you work at an airline without a union, do you wish you had one? Do you feel more vulnerable without one? What do you have in place so that you can air your problems?

How does a company prevent a union being formed?

If you work in a company with a union, do you find that they are effective?

What are the pros and cons of having a union?
