Hi there, I have been at BAL for about a year now and time to command has come down dramatically. The basic facts are that you have to have a min of 4000hrs TT and relatively high up the seniority list. The time to command used to be 13 years but I heard yesterday from a very senior TC that the are getting through the seniority list extremely quickly. He thinks that anyone joining now should have an assesment within 5 to 6 years.

Apologies for changing the topic slightly - (happy to retract this post and stick it on a new thread if required).
I have been doing some digging on BY's Ts and Cs too (ppjn mainly) - I was just wondering what a new starter to the company can expect with regard to (specifically) pension arrangements, and insurances.
Many thanks
