Question Part time at Easy Jet

Just wondering what the options are to go part time at Easy Jet?

How does the system work and is it open to anyone?

What are the Ts and Cs?

You can go 75%:
1)More Days Off
2)Long Days On
3)Still Possible To Work Up To The Max
4)Losing Quarter Of The Pay For Same Amount Of Work

Also 50% available:
1)Even More Days Off
2)Can't Work You To The Max Anymore
3)Hand Over Half Your Salary Which Most Guys Can't Afford!

Out of interest, can a new joiner go part time straight away, or is there a minimum time with the company before this is available?

1 year before you can apply for part time, reckon skippers take about £40k on 50% and roster is roughly 5/2/5/rest of month off.

Thanks for the info Scottie.

How does annual leave entitlement work out with this? Is it 50% of the norm as well?

Does going part time affect your chances of gaining a command?

Don't know of any FO's who are part time, maybe because they need the money I don't know.

Don't even know if it's an option for FO's

Yes some SFO's are part time on various 50% or 75%.

In order to upgrade you'll probably have to go full time for 6-12 months or so for the company to justify the cost of the course.

btw part time is the only way to survive EJ.

??????

Rumour from whom Kriskross?

We've just entered into a binding agreement for the next 18 months, the roster stability has been much improved and we got a 4% pay rise.

From someone already on part time, who heard it from... but then that's a rumour - however it was said that only new applicants will be affected.
