Does anyone have the real scoop on Miami Air out of MIA?
Have an interview with them next week. Anybody?

Heard whispers on the ramp...

that copilots work for $38/hr...and captains for $60/hr.

Heard from a mate that it was an informal interview with little or no technical questions, then got called in for sim ride on 727 with Pan Am a few weeks later, he payed for some sim time prior to this call back so was well prepared. He got the job anyway and is now based in MIA on the 738, they seem a small but friendly outfit according to him, and seem to operate to some interesting places on short term leases, exel airways in UK for example.

Any idea on how many days a month he has off and hrs flown per month? Thanks for the other info! smitty
