Question

Well the ad does not say if it is for a 747 classic position or 744. If it is for classics it is probably for Air Atlanta as the ad talks about PAX...
At the same time DPI is looking for 744 drivers in Europe...for 18 month only?? Which airline could that be?
Anyone knows?

Cheers

Yep, as far as I can make out it is all for Air Atlanta. The 744 is for an Iberia contract based in MAD, 18 month, and they are also looking for Classics people too for other Air Atlanta contracts. MAD positions almost all filled I hear.

Wynnwith is paying $9000/month which is way above the Air Atlanta rate, so i have my doubts.

I applied to Direct for F/O position, it is for Atlanta and only a few positions left, all Captains positions filled internally.

No, not all Captain positions filled internally. They may have told you that but I know of at least 3 direct entry, this year.

Air Atlanta must be getting pretty desperate - Just taken on Ex EAL 737-200 Capt aka no Wide Body or long haul experience direct left seat 74. Blind leading Blind comes to mind!

Correct but their are FOs with them that have heavy jet command and longhaul experience and cant get a look in for a command. Desperation does not come to mind, but if your face fits, does

Makes you wander doesnt it.

If you want your toes stood on, then join Air Atlanta.

Wynnwith 747 advert was for 747 crews...and that is exactly what they were advertising for: Classic and 400 pilots. The 400 is definately Air Atlanta but not certain about the Classic. That could well be AA too. They are'nt too weel organised down ther so getting a reply to an email is pushing one's luck. I called ten times in all before I got to speak to the person involved, one Andrew Middleton, with the contract; no reply three times, engaged three times, cut off while waiting twice, and so on. Not exactly professional although Middleton is very direct and to the point when you do get to him.

No, not me. Why would I want to join Air Atlantic? I have a good job where I am and have no intention of considering a change.

Know several people there.
