Living In Dubai & Flying for Emirates

I was wondering who here flies for Emirates? I am a huge Emirates fan and working on my licenses. I got to speak with an Emirates 777 captain over the net and got featured on their jobs site http://www.pilotcareercentre.com

I have been shocked to read on this forum so many upset Emirates pilots and had several questions about working for Emirates and the lifestyles. I was wondering what it is like living in Dubai for you, what do you like/dislike and if you would recommend someone to actually take a job there. I'm from Canada so its hard to actually get to talk to a Emirates pilot so any feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks and Happy Landings,

Plenty of topics in the mid-east forum covering this.. Have a look in there and I'm sure you'll find what you are looking for..
