Air france staff travel/id95/jumpseat arrangements
Hi All,
Is there anyone who would care to enlighten me on the following:
What are the arrangements for Air France pilots regarding jumpseat arrangements, do they get discount tickets on the "zone" system?
And can you take friends along on a discounted fare if you are working yourself?
Greets,
Spuis

Hello,spuis
As no one seems to volunteer, here are your answers:
-jumpseats are captain's privilege and discretion.
-Zone system is used.
-Yes you are allowed a limited number of N tickets for up to four people of your entourage and there is no rule that says you cannot fly them,
Hope that helps, but I see where you're going to.

Indeed it is obvious where I am going to.
KlM is being taken over by AF and it seems strange to have a different staff travel arrangement.
Currently KLM probably has the worst system in the industry.
More comments are always welcome!
