Ryanair command upgrade

The information on the Ryan's WEB site promising quick command upgrade is simply not true or at least is subject to... Friend of mine( twice more experienced than average Ryan's FO) has been waiting for command upgrade for a long long time . I understand that if you are not paying any money for your training company is not interested in you . Any reason would do - LTR shortage , fleet change , bad weather , et c .
The training itself is a joke with mixture of left and right seat flying . Sometimes you do not fly on the left seat for weeks and then you are expected to perform magic tricks on your command check .
So guys when you read b..t on the Internet keep in mind that it is not true .

Maybe your friend is not telling you the whole truth, so before you come out attacking the system maybe you should have first han info on it. Just because your friend has the hours does not meen that he is suitable for command upgrade. Maybe he failed his passive evaluation, maybe he failed his formal evaluation. I assure you that the training in Ryanair is not a joke, it is in fact one of the hardest in the industry. Many guys have failed in the last few years for various reasons so do not come out attacking a company, a system and the training you are not part of, and have only heard via the grape vine. Paying has nothing to do with training. All candidates are upgraded on Ryanair's cost, and they do not look at anything else except performance and suitability for command. The training department is so diverse in nationalities and backgrounds that I assure you it is not easy to single out a guy.
Any way, tell your friend good luck

HAHAHA that is a good one...

But now seriously.. why would a company have to hire in Captains at a high rate if they can upgrade them internally..

Sounds like your friend is not telling the whole truth... bad MCC maybe in the cockpit and outside me guess..
