European Air Charter
I am looking for information on European air charter.
Are they taking on 737-300s shortly? And will they be recruiting for them? Would love to hear from EAL folk to hear views on lifestyle and company.
Currently at easyJet and looking to escape.
Thank you.

The 737-300s are due to be coming some time soon. Contracts have apparently been signed for work for 4 of them for the summer. It is still intended to operate 8 732s for the summer as well. Given that most of the 732 crews will still be required on the aircraft, it is likely that there will be recruitment of 733-qualified crew. EAC have very few F/Os suitable for command at present (most of those who were qualified were promoted last year) so some DE captains will probably be required.
Work is hugely varied, but we tend to pick up a lot of work that others are trying to farm out - STN crews are getting very fed up with operating for Ryanair at the moment.
The company is still going through the process of being sold - this has dragged on for over 15 months now and is getting tiresome. Once the process is completed, the company should be able to move onwards and upwards fairly rapidly.
