HI all

I note that Virgin have announced an OZ route Hkg-Syd to start summer 2004. Will this mean a recruitment drive? Any virgins care to comment on numbers and for what type.

For some time the company has been conducting interviews, with the purpose of building a "pool" of pilots who would be available at relatively short notice, i.e. three months. The current plan for HKG-SYD is for the Airbus to operate the route.
