Oniva delay
After the interviews and sim rides they did decide who they wanted to join at start up and letters had been posted out. Since discovered this was not the case and have now heard rumours that start up has been delayed until late next year.
Pity they have chosen not to let people know the outcome of their sim assessment, with all this delay the people they have earmarked for initial positions will have found other jobs... I know I have!

Letters have gone out to people who were offered jobs
with out the need for a sim ride ( presume those who were ATR type rated ) indiciating a proposed start date of March 04.
Delay put down to funding issues

Grange end, as I understand it, those who passed the interview stage were then invited for a sim check. Having an ATR rating did not have an effect on this as the sim check covers lots of things, and is not intended to show competance in operating an ATR, indeed to prove the point the check was in a HS125!

Two friends of mine received their letters this week , both are type rated , both attended the interviews , neither one of them was required to do sim check
Presume that as a new start up , it's obviously advantageous to get as many type rated folk on board to cut down on initial training costs.
