Cool

What he means is Sharjah,Abu Dhabi and Dubai are all totally seperate States and when I mean States I mean in the European sense not the 'United' one. Get an atlas and read up on it because lack of knowledge like that will only embarras you at the interview stage. There are new start-up operators in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah but EK has Dubai pretty much sewn up.
And invest in a good dictionary!

JW411... Life has obviously passed you by and you are bitter and twisted and sit at your third hand MS DOS based, constantly crashing, brown box and vent your spleen on regular flying guys who are not concerned with the academic pettiness of picking holes in everything with the exception your truss and incontinence pants.
Get what remains of the rest of your life and enjoy it in a positive manner! I fly for fun, what do you do?

Actually dear boy, I fly for money. I gave up flying for fun a very long time ago. That approach to aviation did not impress my bank manager at all.

Notice that Pontious has chips firmly attached to both shoulders...would like to be a fly on the flight deck wall when the new DE Captain tells him to 'gear up...and shut up, sport.'

On the contrary,411.

I have no intention of flying with the DEC's but my reasons for opting out of the A340 are personal and private and not for open forum discussion.

aviate 1138:

I think you owe me an apology. It has suddenly dawned on me that your rather less than erudite, rambling and vitriolic diatribe was probably not directed at me rather than at someone else with a similar callsign.

As a beginner at this debating game on pprune it is quite fundamental that you get the callsign right. If you can't do that then you really will have to hone up your obviously limited debating skills.

Otherwise you are doomed to continue to flying for fun (at great expense to yourself) instead of getting paid good money for doing so. This is a professional pilots rumour network and I cannot tell you how much fun it is to be paid an indecent amount of money for doing what you like best!

I see from your profile that you are very highly qualified but your talent would appear not to have been recognised as yet by the world's major airlines.

Ignore him Aviate1138, I'm trying to figure out the connection between the number 411 and phrase "Pontificating tosspot". I can only guess that "Pontificating tosspot" earns you 411 points at Scrabble. Any other takers?

Devil

411A,

The new DEC who says that will have been bloody lucky to get in and will very likely shortly be an EX DEC.

We are short, NOT desperate!

Fish.

Thanks for the back-up,matey.I have a feeling that FOQA is going to be a bit of a shock for a few of "these" DEC's.

See you for a beer!!
