Overseas Hiring Website

Hello,

I just talked to one of my fellow aviators on the phone the other day and he told me there is demand for American Pilots overseas. He told me there was a specific website available to try and find these job postings. However, he did not know the web site address or name. Does anyone know of this website?

I've tried a few foreign aviation jobs but most of the job postings I have seen are for highly experienced pilots, plus right to work to work in that country and immigrate. Does anyone know if some like me American ATP, 1530 TT, 115 Multi, can realistically be in demand as an FO in an overseas job?

Thanks!

Hey there.

"most of the job postings I have seen are for highly experienced pilots, plus right to work to work in that country and immigrate".

This is the case... Well mostly everywhere. However without trying you wont get anywhere. Worst they can tell you is NO.

I presume from your post that you are an American I would suggest looking in US. Even with all the unemployed pilots around, you still would have better employment prospects back home than elsewhere. Additionally a FAA CPL or ATP with no large aircraft experience will not take you far in Europe.
Realistically based on your quoted experience, there is not much demand for a pilot with your qualifications (Just my uneducated opinnion). Rather there are quite a few fellows in that category without a job.

Cheers

JJ

You might try a few websites : www.flitejobs.com, this one has free membership; or if you look at this www.pilotpointer.com, at the right you find the other advertisers, I am sure that will keep you busy....
I wish you luck, my 30 years of flying experience finds me jobless at present, if you don't have the right equipment on your licence....
Keep your revs up fellows, the moon is shinin' tonight!!!
