AIB NEO

I’m quite new on this variant.
do you have better explanation than fcom/fctm about rotation and flare mode?

and some good hints how Eng cooling is calculated?

thanks

What would you like to know? Tech background? Handling and feel? Failures or abnormal ops?

My experience is A320ceo vs A321neo, so quite a few variables here. Different FAC and FMGS standard. Different engines and obviously, different body angles.

Thanks for your reply,

technical back ground, abnormal procedures and information not available in aib manuals

thanks

Do you have the Worldwide Instructors Network (WIN) app? It has articles and videos on various topics. They aren’t just for the 320 so possibly not as specific as you’re looking for, but good information nevertheless. The Safety First articles are good as well, but with a different focus from the WIN articles.

There's no aerodynamic feel in Airbus. There are now many varients of 320 & 321. So during rotation and flare they will respond to stick inputs a little differently. Through a software Airbus has tried to keep their responses same to stick inputs.

I'm not really a fan of the changes airbus made to the air/ground transition in normal law when they introduced the NEO. If my understanding is right, they modelled it after the widebodies. The problem is that after flying the NEO for a week, going back to the CEO, I make NEO control inputs. It wasn't broken, so I'm not sure why they "fixed" it.
