Depending on payload / range, I could certainly see a use for these type of machines in the far north of Canada. In a good year, we get to use ice-roads for 3+ months for our heavier loads to remote mining sites, and that is only when the ice reaches 40" thick. In 2006 the season was only 6 weeks - at one $7-Bn project they ended up air-freighting in shotcrete at vast expense.
It's a niche slice of a niche market, but it certainly exists. Best of luck!!! :ok: :ok: :ok: |
First flight was scheduled for yesterday, but was cancelled due to a technical issue. Postponed for a few days at least
