A320 Successful Autolands?
Just wondering what the parameters are for a successful autoland on a 320? What is considered to be un-successful? What sort of deviation from the center line is acceptable? (For you comedians out there please dont say main wheels in the grass!)
I haven't been able to find out anything listing what is deemed acceptable or not. Any pointers or links would be appreciated. |
Landing within the desiginated landing zone, no autoland light illuminated, firmness is subjective. These were the parameters our company used.

Also depend on which engines you have - the characteristics are quite different between them :eek:
