A320 Eng Rev CFM56
Dear all,
A320 with CFM56 engines have a protection which provides auto restow and automatic idle selection in case of uncommanded ENG reverse deploy in flight. What if during landing or RTO one or more doors don't deploy? I understand in that case there's no protection and I was wondering why Airbus say one has to select full REV immediately on touch down instead of waiting for the REV green indication on the upper ECAM. Thanks! |
Because in both FCTM and MEL it says:
CAUTION : If ENG (affected) REVERSE UNLOCKED caution has been triggered during the flight on ECAM E/WD, do not select thrust reverser on the affected engine. |
