52257 is the normal 114A engine model no , 52032 is the SER engine model.
Pratt does not give any info on this PT6A engine. I just like to know what I am getting into flying this engine. Thx, R |

Hi Richard
Just want to find out if you ever managed to get info on that engine. We running a King 200 with them and would like to find out what you think about the SER. |
The 750hp PT6A you are asking about is a -135A.

"SER" may stand for Service Engineering Request - perhaps newly-certified, upgraded hardware (turbine?) installed on a limited basis (perhaps at no cost) in certain customers' engines for field evaluation.
If the SER proves successful - meeting design objectives - the new hardware will probably be released for unlimited use. |
