Prognostic weather chart
Hi,
I am looking for information on how to decipher high and low level Prognostic charts, especially of the Indian Sub-Continent..I would be more than obliged if somebody could direct me to a website that can help me learn more about them with a few samples..I had seen one a while ago that depicted Cb clouds, Jet streams etc. Thanks a lot in advance, Sahil |

Hi,
It is plus minus 3 hours from the time of issue. |
They are issued without an end time, so you use them until the next one comes out, which is six hours later.

The Australian explanation can be found at Airservices Australia - Aeronautical Information Package (AIP)
You will need to consent to the site conditions to enter. Select AIP Book General 3.5 Meterology Section 20 Sig.Wx Charts 24 Example and symbols. |
I thought prognostic charts were valid for 12 hrs and issued every 6 hours (twice daily). Correct me if I am wrong.
