Prognostic weather chart

Hi,
I am looking for information on how to decipher high and low level Prognostic charts, especially of the Indian Sub-Continent..I would be more than obliged if somebody could direct me to a website that can help me learn more about them with a few samples..I had seen one a while ago that depicted Cb clouds, Jet streams etc.

Thanks a lot in advance,
Sahil

They are issued without an end time, so you use them until the next one comes out, which is six hours later.

I thought prognostic charts were valid for 12 hrs and issued every 6 hours (twice daily). Correct me if I am wrong.
