Question for A380 pilots
I've just watched this great video:
YouTube - The Belly of the Beast What puzzles me is that the nose gear extends first - before the first flap selection - and the main gear does not extend until much later.What's going on here?! |
That aint a A380 :rolleyes:
It's a MK Airlines 747-200F..... To get the nose gear down alone on the classic, as you can see in the video. You simply use the alternate gear extension switch on the overhead panel. |
It's not an A380. It's an MK Cargo B747-200F. The video just highlights an Air France A380 on the ground at J'Burg during the taxi-out. For the purpose of the video the nose gear was probably alternate/gravity extended early to allow the video to take place.
