Question for A380 pilots
I've just watched this great video:

What puzzles me is that the nose gear extends first - before the first flap selection - and the main gear does not extend until much later.What's going on here?!

That aint a A380
It's a MK Airlines 747-200F.....
To get the nose gear down alone on the classic, as you can see in the video. You simply use the alternate gear extension switch on the overhead panel.

It's not an A380. It's an MK Cargo B747-200F. The video just highlights an Air France A380 on the ground at J'Burg during the taxi-out. For the purpose of the video the nose gear was probably alternate/gravity extended early to allow the video to take place.
