B 777 C.G cruise.
B 777-200.
Please, what do you insert, in the FMS, as cruise C.G, and why? Thanks,to all, friends, for explanations!!! Gianni |
In the 200/300 (i.e without raked wingtips) there should be a de-fault cruise CG and I'm not aware of any reason to change it.
|
We get it from dispatch and it never matches the default value.
|
Greetings
Dispatch gets it from engineering, and engineering gets it from downlinked data where Cruise CG features, I believe that it is needed by the FMS to compute Max and Optimum, taking into account the drag generated by the stabilizer. |
Are you guys eveny REMOTELY AWARE of the implications that the CG value has on takeoff, landing and most of all on cruise.....???
Omgg... |
With such an introduction, King please go ahead I am dying to learn from you
|
much more about....
Thanks!!! all of you..but...
..i need moore about it!!! we have a default number"14",and we leave that!!( the fwd limit) "30",it could be better, and "44" much more!...but... ..how it works!? Thanks!!!! |
Are you guys talking about cruise CG, or T/Off CG?
In our ops, %mac T/O is entered in the T/O ref page for each departure. CRUISE C/G is a default value on the Vnav Cruise page. It is usually left as is, except on the 300ER and 200LR where it is changed to a different (fixed) value due to an Aerodynamic anomoly with the raked wingtips. I've flown Boeings for a few companies, and have never had an operation where cruise CG was supplied as part of pre-deparure information. |
There has been a discussion regards this in a previous thread guys.
