Reduced climb power 737

Guys,

sometimes you have CLB 1 or CLB 2, sometimes not. When do we have reduced climb power and when not?

Thanks

Depends on 'assumed' temp OR manual selection. FCTM refers (Sect 3). Try and read it. It is a useful guide to 737 ops.

increasing thrust passing accel alt wouldn't make sense.
so the more you had reduced during T/O the less you get for climb.
you can see it on the N1-page when you enter the ass Temp and the derate. on the right side the " <act> " jumps down.....

reminds me of my supervision: checker says "see that R-TO indication there? why is it there?"
me goes: "i dunno, i didn't touch it":8:\

Actually, increasing thrust at acceleration is the norm if you use the available tools for take off thrust reduction. Even climb 2 is more power than a derate 2 take off with assumed temperature.
