Post Alaska diversion airfields

I saw the topic on Canadian diversion airfields and liked it so . . .

When flying Asia to Anchorage, what are diversion airfields suitable for widebody - in my case 747 classic.

Specifically, is cold bay still open and plowed? Also Shemya, I keep hearing that it is not plowed and other swear it is plowed and could be used if desperate.

Thanks - Flying Guy

If you're on the NOPAC routes..
UHPP Petrapavlosk 11000'
PASY Shemya 10000'
PADK Adak 7800'
PACD Cold Bay 10500'
PAKN King Salmon 8500'
From memory, the ACARS WX/SNOWTAMS always indicate they are suitable codition wise, X wind is often another matter.

If you are going through Russia then
UHMG
UHMO
UHMA
UHMD
Can't tell you anything else as I never go that way
