Post Conditioning Air Source A320

Any crew/engineers help in solving a very small dilemma...

I'd like to know where the source of the air is for the Air conditioning system on the A320. Am I correct in thinking it's the HP compressor ?

Cheers!

Lightbulb

FCOM 1.36.10 p4 says - "Air is normally bled from the intermediate pressure stage (IP) of engine's high-pressure compressor to minimize fuel penalty. At low engine speed, when the pressure and temperature of the IP air are too low, the system bleeds air from the HP stage and maintains it at 36 psi plus or minus 4 psi."

So in a word - yes!!
